Life Connect – Digital Detox (Breakfast Event)
October 8 @ 8:15 am - 10:30 am
Life Connect – Digital Detox
£35 non-members / FREE for members.
Join us for a breakfast bowl and real conversation this month as we go round the table to discuss digital detox in a world designed to encourage addiction to your device and shorten you attention span. How can we interact with others and stay connected without becoming slaves to the companies that design our technology? What are the benefits of being on screens less and how do we accomplish that? Is it possible to be a leader in your professional world yet free from the demands of a 24/7 content production? Is digital detox even possible?
Maxim Cramer will be our experienced Mentor this session. Maxim is an expert technology consultant, successful programmer and gifted facilitator of tech savvy who has helped multiple award winning tech companies. She also travels globally as a speaker for tech conferences. Renée Elliott, (Founder, Planet Organic), and Sam Wigan, (Executive Life Coach, Thrive Global), will also participate. As a group we’ll explore ideas, discover solutions and increase momentum in the week.
Come along if you
… want to find out if digital detox is right for you,
… know that you spend too much time on devices but can’t seem to stop,
… realise your phone is the last thing you touch at night and the first thing you touch when you wake,
… spend more time on social media than on any other specialist interest in your life,
… understand there’s huge value in digital and social tech but there’s lots that needs changing,
… want to have a conversation where there’s no right or wrong, but there may be a better way,
… value new perspectives and support from others.
