Melia is a qualified business coach specialising in career development and transitions.
Melia has enjoyed a successful 18-year career in Management Consulting (McKinsey & Company), Strategy (Hachette and Kaplan) and Executive Search (Skillcapital). Core functions of her career in executive search were to advise senior executives on career development and to identify talent needs for clients. This dual role has equipped Melia with an ability to understand career transitions from both employer and employee perspectives, and to powerfully guide individuals in how best to define, communicate and action a new career direction.
Melia brings this practical mindset and corporate knowhow together with a compassionate coaching style that inspires clients to think freely, clarify goals and dare to aim high. Having navigated several career transitions herself, including three maternity breaks, and having lived and worked in Europe, the US and Asia, Melia knows what it takes to successfully alter course and take advantage of change, whether that is within a company, changing sectors, starting a new career or deciding if launching a new business is the right choice for you.
Meliaʼs coaching style has been described as highly empathetic with the ability to quickly build trusting relationships with her clients. During coaching sessions, she forms strong partnerships with her clients and creates a safe space for them to think freely and creatively in order to clarify their goals and work out how to achieve these.
We are delighted to have Melia supporting our community in career transitions, aiming high and fulfilling career ambition.
“Everyone is capable of achieving their goals.” – Melia
